    2016 SHOT Show: KelTec RDB

The Keltec RFB (Rifle, Forward eject, Bullpup) is well known and has been available for some time.
The much newer RDB (Rifle, Downward eject, Bullpup) was announced at the previous years show, but only in prototype form.
This years Media Day was my first time to actually fire the RDB.

At the same time that the RDB was first announced, they also had another version on display called the M43.
This was meant to look like an old school design, wood stock and iron sights.
This version may still be released in the future, but has not been developed further as of yet.

One of the guns available to test had a can on the front. That seems to be a recurring theme this year. MANY vendors has suppressed guns at range day.

I'll try and get more photos and more details at the actual show. It was a bit noisy at the range. (Not every gun was suppressed!)

Where exactly does it downward eject from?...
The Bee does not squander his time trying to explain to the Fly why honey is better than s**t. Each creature is content with the meal laid before them, so the Bee reserves his endeavor for those who know its worth.

Yes, the case is drawn back over top of the mag and dropped down a narrow chute right at the butt.

The push is on for the RDB first. They have actually shipped about 1000 already, so it is more that vapourware.
The M43 is still a go, but will be towards the end of the year.
They now also have a new variant, the RDB-C.
C could stand for Compliant, or California, or ???
Anyway, it does not have a free standing pistol grip.
And it will also be available in 6.5 Grendel

Once I get my photos tagged, I'll post here.

I'd like to try that to see how it feels. I don't always like pistol grips.
Today could be the last day of the rest of your life.
