Sorry, would not be a firearm as per the firearm act, but would be under the criminal code.

    Why there no edit function?

FWIW, I cannot see it being a firearm as it does not break 500fps. At least not with current arrow weight.
And as it does not use stored bow energy and a string, I cannot see it being archery either...
    Still a cool toy, tho!
The only functional issue I see is getting 3000psi compressed air......
You can get their hand-pump, which after much effort and time will get you to 3000psi (and 8 shots). Or get a scuba tank and lug that around.

I can see regular use requiring a portable compressor
You are either trained or untrained, and you
will always fall to the level of your training.

Easy. Scuba tank. They are from 3000psi to 4500psi. Cheap to fill.

Filling method aside, I think only 8 shots is kind of a bummer. Refilling would get old pretty quick.
The Bee does not squander his time trying to explain to the Fly why honey is better than s**t. Each creature is content with the meal laid before them, so the Bee reserves his endeavor for those who know its worth.

Yes, except in some areas of the country you need to have a PADI or other Scuba certification in order to get them filled.

Like the idea, but wonder how well it will work when the temp drops below zero ?

I own a scuba shop. We fill\sell tanks for paintballers all the time. This would be the same. We don't care if you don't have a license.

I should ask that. Good question.

EDIT. Chip H said that the power/velocity would not change much, but the total round count would likely drop from 8 to 7 in freezing weather.
