    Just awesome!
( for those concerned about refilling after 8 shots, you've got to collect your arrows at some point anyway. ...)

Or you could save your money and buy the real thing made by FX instead of this cheap immitation. Look up FX Verminator, Royal, Indy or any other FX model really.

Follow through isn't just a shooting fundamental, it's a life skill.

I don't like that the sign for the Bulldog says "Big Game Power!" Right under "200ftlbs of energy"...

There's not many hunters that would consider a pistol chambered in .380 auto (same M.E.) to be "big game power!"
The Bee does not squander his time trying to explain to the Fly why honey is better than s**t. Each creature is content with the meal laid before them, so the Bee reserves his endeavor for those who know its worth.

You're probably not a bow hunter. Your average crossbow shooting a 400gr. bolt around 350 FPS is only about 100 ft lbs.

For a fast shooting easy to use gun that can shoot 8 shots before a refill that's impressive.

You probably didn't read my post. I was referring to the Bulldog, not the Airbow. The Bulldog fires a .357 lead pellet at 800 fps, producing a mere 200 ft lbs of energy. That's great for an air gun... But for "big game"? Not what I would personally classify as an ethical firearm choice.

    From their own website:

Stepping into a Bulldog .357 means stepping out of the traditional world of airguns. Go beyond garden pests and into the realm of predator hunting and wild hogs, whitetail wallhangers and African plains game. Take the leash off what’s possible and hunt with a Bulldog.
^ I think that's an irresponsible description of a firearm that only produces the same power as a .380 auto pistol. Even a .22 mag has 240 ftlbs.

And for the record, yes, I am indeed a bow hunter.

I saw this at SHOT, and it is quite a piece of kit for hunting. However I think the "air bow" is with the RCMP right now for classification. Also it will be going through the various MNRs to determine if it can be used in bow season or not. It is very loud, and they were promoting accuracy of 2 inches at 60 yards.

There is a BIG difference between a small 80gr progectiles with that energy and a arrow with a bladed tip. A bullet has to push its way through an animal, an arrow cuts its way through.

For the love of God, people! Pay attention! Gee Whiz!

I'm talking about the Bulldog. Not the Airbow. The bulldog.

With less power and double the price I won't be buying the "real thing" lol
