    Even if a small number within their party speak up for the shooting sports, then this is a good thing.
    Hearing from someone you work with, who you like and respect, can change views...or at least soften them.

    while I do hate the Lib party, Ellis has done well in this area. we have a very large hunting and finish community here as well as some of the best hunting in this part of Ontario, anyone that anti gun in this area will have a very hard time, be it lib con, or green.
    The con,s in this area are all pro gun, and most of them are members of our club, not as a political thing, but as a personal thing.
    Most of them are either about to retier of have just done so. that may be an issue.

    Good job will for getting them to the range

    I don't disagree. But political machines have little tolerance for MPs who might be sand in their gears. Nevertheless, I compliment you for taking the initiative and advocating for us.
