2016 SHOT Show: four new powders from IMR

Hi folks, stopped by the Hodgdon booth, their news was the introduction of four new powders. According to the rep i spoke with, these powders reduce copper fowling by a measurable amount. Hodgdon brands these as making use of their "Enduron" technology.

4166 I have tested quite a bit in my 308. Works very well, got .44" to .6" groups consistently with 168gr Amax. Doesn't foul heavily either and excellent across all temperature ranges. Definitely a substitute for varget or even replacement, seems to be available everywhere I look.

Good to know! Can't say I've seen 4166 anywhere that I normally buy my powders but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it next time.

    Thanks louthepou for the review.
4166 definitely has my attention 'specially since Varget seems to be invisible around here!
