People are finding all kinds of way to shred time in competition. Cobalt Kinetics come up with a system that basically ejects the magazine when the last round is loaded to the chamber. When a fresh mag is inserted, the bolt is released automatically.
The system is only guaranteed to work with Cobalt Kinetics upper due to tolerance requirement. Putting a regular upper on the Cobalt Kinetics lower may not work reliably.

So as the mag ejects with the last round loaded, does the bolt still locked back if you fire that last round without having inserted a new mag?
If it defeats the bolt hold open I can't see how it saves time.

thats badass. I am sure others will make things like this. I'd like to be able to turn it off, or partially off, but this is very cool.

From the competition side of things at first I thought oh that's cool, but then I thought, when was the last time I ran a mag emty into bho in a match....
now the only thing missing is a way for it too load a mag itself
