    Thats absolutely brutal, I was really excited to pick up a 958 and make that my main gun. Might just have to snag an 858 off the EE once the classification looks more stable.

    You're forgetting the Chinese Type 81 which should be available for this same market segment (i.e., people who want a pseudo-AK47). and reportedly will sell for around $1K. Competition is good for us in this case.

    If the conservatives had been reelected I'd have absolutely no hesitation in buying an 858. But they weren't, and we all know the current governments plan, so ya I'd say things aren't too stable at the moment.

    You're telling me these will be available in Canada? As non-restricted?

    Yes, non restricted, for around 1000$, in august-september 2016 (Q3).

    Agreed....and if the tables turn on the 858 everything else will follow shortly there after regardless of the new "rcmp approved" stamp or not....
