They also make a new headlamp that uses the same 18650 Li rechargeable battery . Must be a growing market because surefire is releasing a 300 lumen " Minimus", and the equivalent to this will be the rechargeable Maximus with a maximum output at 500 lumen. However, the Fenix HL60R can go all the way up to 950 lumen, including a 5 lumen red light.

I use a Fenix pd35 and a headlamp everyday at work. The 18650 batteries are great

I didn't go to SHOT, and STILL, it's costing me money!
This type of headband the Fenix HL60Rhas possibilities for the hunter. Low red light to get to the stand unnoticed in the morning, and high beam for the walk out after legal light is gone, or for game handling chores when you get something.

Fenix got some nice stuff! I have a TK15, TK22 and a PD35. Wish they would come out with IR LED for use with my night vision scope.

I sell a lot of these at my store! Fantastic lights, super bright, lifetime warranty! Several models that do run on just AA batteries for those that want that.
