I use sub sonic cb long rifle, try a few different brands to get the quietest. In a rifle like my cz You can hear the firing pin hit the shell and the bullet hit the target. Im surprised they actually are still legal. A friend of mine uses these in the city to exterminate marmits good to 60 yrds with a well placed shot.
