    I heard awhile back someone was designing a pump version of a Tommy gun which should not only be non restricted but would have unlimited mag capacity.

    ,,,,,,, All these type of guns ( I have a 1921 A1 Tommy also) do NOT go to the smelter.
    They are de-activated & sold to almost anyone as a mantle piece.
    I wish they could stay live firing , but @ least they do no go to the smelter .

    I am thinking about donating my 12.5s including my 1927A1 to a museum when I die. That way they won't be welded up.

    I was under the impression that most (maybe all?) museum firearms are deactivated. Or is this just the choice of the museum?
