2016 SHOT Show: Thompson SEMI auto

From Kahr Firearms Group are some beautiful semi auto Thompson SMG copies.
They showed two stunning examples, one gold plated, one with a silvery chrome finish.
As well, there were several versions of standard blued steel guns.
Some with 20 round box mags, others with the 50 round drum mag.
Unfortunately, all Thompson SMG variant are prohibited in Canada.

    Anyway, for your viewing pleasure...

Notice that the cocking handle knob is on the top on the top two guns, like the M1928.
On the lower gun, the knob is on the side, like the later simplified M1A1 Thompson.

Receiver markings similar to the originals.

An old guy I work with has a Tommy Gun locked in his safe.

So sad that he's allowed to own it, but not allowed to shoot it.

Even sadder is that when he dies, it goes to the smelter.

No. He's quite bitter about the whole thing.

His guns die when he dies.

Yeah, that'll teach the pesky government types not to do that again!
Maybe he should burn his money in protest too...

Of the few pics I have of my father is one taken in Korea of him looking badass brandishing a Thompson with stick mag, PPCLI. I would like one of those kits for a Ruger 10 22.

Maybe if we sign a petition the government will let us have one. Or if we start a "#thompsonlivesmatter" we can change the laws
