Lightbulb 2016 SHOT Show: Radom MSBS rifle system

For several years now, Fabryka Broni, of Radom Poland has been showing off their intriguing MSBS family of rifles.
Most interestingly, the rifle can be converted from a standard layout to a bullpup layout by substituting the lower and the forearm, etc.
The standard configuration was available to fire at Media Day.
The bullpup version is still being fine tuned.

Greentips wrote about it last year also

More info from the World Guns site.

I had a chance to photograph the innards of the standard setup.
And place the two versions side by side as a comparison. Note the location of the ejection port.
Also note that the ejection is set up for right side ejection now, but can be changed to left side ejection by removing the cover plate and rotating the bolt over a half turn.

This is a very interesting project. I hope it eventually makes its way to Canada.
They want to first concentrate on the Polish military market, then the US civvy market afterwards.
At that point, they can think of the Canadian market.

Anyway, some photos to whet your appetite.

As it can go back and forth between normal and bullpup, is it flirting with the legal line in the sand about bullpup stocks? Perhaps only the "regular" model could be available in Canada? Curious.
The Bee does not squander his time trying to explain to the Fly why honey is better than s**t. Each creature is content with the meal laid before them, so the Bee reserves his endeavor for those who know its worth.

The bull pup is pretty nice. The regular version reminds me of the ACR.

Possibly.... But it may have the other effect. Similar to the "factory produced shirt barrel" for a shotgun.... You can't cut it short... But you can buy it short...

No it won't. It can't fire without the bullpup lower.
