    Finally got mine today, thanks, Wolverine :-)

    Started a thread in black and green shotguns with a bunch of photos, but my first impressions are overall positive:


    • Carry handle rear sight is craptastic plastic.
    • Rails are wider than spec - couldn't use my Magpul front sight.
    • front sight came off easily
    • choke came out easily
    • 4 of my 5 mags insert and remove easily. #5 is tight - didn't force it. Gong to sand it a bit.
    • mag release is super stiff
    • weighs about what I expected
    • hinge mechanism makes it WAY too long. It was easy to remove, however.
    • balance is good, and somewhat to the rear
    • cycles smoothly
    • recoil spring is pretty heavy, meaning that a bigger cocking handle would be nice

    I put on a trigacon reflex sight on my SA15 and I just ordered a mini thermo sight to sit I frunt of the reflex sight if it all works out it's going to be wicked hunting with this thing

    I'm stuck in Princ Rupert no room on the ferry for a nother week so I had my SA15 sent to my moms house the boat bin full for over 3 weeks now lol

    You can take the whole thing off (front sight) by loosening the Allen screws and slipping it off over the front of the barrel. The screws are on the underside of it.
