This is a cool gun but I wish you guys could find someone making a better quality copy to import. If people will pay $800-1000 (and up ) for a decent pistol carbine I can't see a problem selling a good quality, well made 9mm M1 somewhere in that range.

I keep getting the urge to buy one but then I go to Crappy Tire and handle one, go home and read about them online and then the urge fades.

from my experience with mine if they were using a metal barrel band that would be way better than the plastic one , other than that i have nothing to says about it

Yeah, the plastic pieces were among the things that gave me pause.

Decent wood, but the plastic really seems to be out of place on this one?

    honestly...
i have one, don't like it, never shot it.
it is clunky and awkward...and the plastic sucks.
i will probably sell it at a loss.
i bought it online having never seen one in person. lesson learned.

I have one as well. It just feels...cheap. Not a lot of fun to shoot, sort of accurate, mostly functions well (lots of FTE with cheap ammo though) but feels cheap and as such sits in my safe waiting for some miraculous upgrade to come along.
