I read somewhere online that the MR88 SX was available either left or right handed. Is this correct? If so, which do you have in stock? (I assume they are referring to target grips with a thumb rest)

    edit

Also, Is it true that the MR88 is a result of a collaboration with Ruger and is based on the Security Six frame?

Very cool. Good to see something different making it to the NA market. Any MR73s on the horizon?

Yes it is. It looks like a Security Six/GP100 but the complete revolver is made in France with their steel and know how. Manurhin went with the Ruger design to cut production cost as the MR73 is nearly twice the price of the MR88 to manuf.

    Hello TradeEx.....

Could you perhaps give us a little more information or background on this gun? I'm having trouble finding much online that isn't in French. How does it differ from the 73? Would it be fair to say this is Manurhin's entry level gun? (sort of like how the Boxster is an entry level Porche )

A while ago a company down in the US brought in a bunch of police issue MR73. Sold for $500 a piece. Maybe someday we'll see something like that here too.
