So my dealer’s gunsmith modified the bolt it could finally take cartridges. I went home and modified the bolt further to make it smooth.
The gun is fixed but they shouldn’t let it leave the factory in the first place.
Left a message on CZ website and someone from Czech Republic actually replied to me. I sent them some pictures just to show them how poor their QC is.
I hope when I buy guns I will never need to use the warranty, I don’t want warranty I want quality.

Same happened to my 527. I ended up buying a stock from Boyds. I love the gun but I'll never buy another CZ.

Call CZ USA. Told them I was Canadian and they laughed and said calling them in Kentucky is the only way to get parts into Canada. They told me to order to a PO box in the USA and just go pick up the parts when it arrived. Even in Kentucky they have heard stories of non-existent CZ service in Canada! My Shadow 2 was at Gretch for 7 months and I told them to send it back without being fixed.

It did find some brutal scratches on the grip and frame. The blue anodizing has been scratched of the right grip and the backstrap has what looks like glue or epoxy in it that I cant get out without scratching it. I just have nothing else to say or my blood pressure will get to dangerous levels.

I just took a look at the Grech Outdoors website -- scroll down left hand side -- it now says for CZ warranty please contact Wolverine Supplies.

    Has the situation improved?... !!!

(I briefly looked at the Wolverine website - no mention of new relationship.)

I imagine that Wolverine will order a bunch of CZ parts and be ready for servicing before they start accepting guns. CZ sends parts to Canada only once or twice a year Ive heard and Gretch only order the parts they need which is why it takes 1 year to get anything done.

FYI, I just got my CZ shotgun from Gretch Outdoors last week Unrepaired, with a missing part in the package they sent back. I sent them then 2-year new firearm 18 months ago and was told last month that they no longer provide warranty services for CZ products due to extended delay in getting parts from CZ. Anyway, I am now left with a nonfunctioning CZ with missing firing pin spring, tough luck. Pretty sure that I'm done with CZ.
Anyone know where to get CZ parts in Canada? Don't think can get it in USA within law.

Forgive me jumping in on Dlask's page but they no longer have a horse in this race, if anyone has any CZ warranty concerns please contact Wolverine Supplies. If you had a claim with Cretch you need to get your firearm back from them and then set up a new warranty claim with us, sorry this may seem a long way round but we can not be responcable for what may or may not have taken place before we took over.

We carry a good inventory of new CZ parts, also available for purchase, and have regular shipments direct from CZ in the Czech Republic.

If you have any ongoing problems with CZ warranty claims please feel free to let us know and we will get them resolved.
