I did not know this about ######. Anecdotally I have been using them for years, and have not had any issues when paying for the occasional firearm. Looks like I need to do some research.

that's why you can use ###### to buy all the gun stuff on eBay ....
I had always wondered why the EE was mostly "EMT only" when ###### is the norm on sites like Ebay. Especially because it allows you to use a CC when buying from a private individual. It makes sense now that I know the "no firearms" thing

I would love to use ###### just based on the fact you have some consumer protections if you get scammed, but they are just like facebook, a policy involving "no fun whatsoever".
Just some random gun toting weeb in Alberta.
Disclaimer: All deposits taken on anything I sell on the EE are non refundable unless otherwise explicitly agreed.
Not worth the hassle of chargeback scams though

I had a talk with American Express about this and their anti fraud protection still applies if you are using the card to fund a purchase through ######. I would use ###### for all online purchases where a CC is not accepted if I could. I've never had a bad experience on the EE but sending off a non-recoverable EMT always makes me feel a little uneasy.
