The oil is not bad, contact solvent is decent... not as fast as varsol, but it is a lot less messy to use.

Bore solvent.... i am on the fence. I'm comparing it to wipeout. It does take carbon out faster than wipeout, but wipeout seems better with copper.

Good line up, well priced. (which is a nice change)
Envy green is not a color well worn. Might want to quit while you're ahead

Hard to go wrong with Lucas.
I'm glad to see them servicing gun owners.
I'll be on the lookout for these.

Is this "specially formulated" for firearm use or a relabled product?

Not that it matters, but curious.....

Lucas has a lot of experience in synthetics and access to a lot of ad dative packages.
It would not surprise me if they were working on a new EP oil for another application and an engineer said 'this would make a great gun oil.

I'm quite impressed the low odour is a nice change from break free.

The cleaner is a solid performer on residue and carbon build up
Oil works well in cold temps (will try hot temps later)
I'm hoping they will make an EP grease for locking lugs but red synthetic wheel bearing grease has that covered for me.

Go to the Lucas site and read up on it. Appears the owner of Lucas is a shooter and chemist and developed it for his gun buddies that where running a machine guns and complaining about certain issues and lube related problems and Lucas designed these products for them. Picked the oil up at the Peterbilt dealership I was working for as they brought it in along with oth Lucas products they sell as a lot of truckers and mechanics are shooter/hunters----Dieseldog!
