Once we have a better feel for final costs, yes, we would require a deposit to proceed.
Right now I am just trying to get a feel for the market.

If so, I'd vote that is a better move, even if it's another 1000$ per rifle.....but this is coming from a guy who's already said "i'm out"!!!
Probably not. Given either round loaded to the same pressure for a single shot rifle, the 20x138 has the edge in case capacity. The limiting factor for extreme range performance with 20mm is likely the shapes of existing projectiles. Most of them have a fairly blunt ogive; HE capacity is the priority for shells and AP shot needs to copy the same shape to match trajectories for both rounds. Lathe-turning custom projectiles would allow for a much more aerodynamic shape.

We will be "turning" solid brass bullets as well.
Casings are the hard part to source but if there is a demand we may look at sourcing a larger quantity.
I know absolutely nothing about 20mm, but I was just inquiring on another thread if we were allowed to own a rifle/cannon and the ammo.
Clearly yes. I could be in to this.

    Are these guys making ammo?

Part of the determining fact on pricing is getting a feel for how many will be produced.
The 1st one is always the most expensive 1, after that the costs go down. In any manufacturing the greater the number being made the lower the price per part is, which is the whole reason I started this thread. To judge whether there is in fact enough interest to make more than the 2 or 3 that I know already have homes.

I have all of the desire! But a fraction of the capital I would be interested in paying someone $100 to take one shot with their rifle when it's done though I have some fun ones you can try too! Just nothing like this lol.
