I am pretty much full up on milsurps 5 SKS only one I shoot. The others still in cosmoline, same with my 91/30s.
Id figure people migrate to cheap NR 223s and 22s.

That would depend on what happened to the prices of 58's, 858's and type 81s

Its the 7.62x39 ammunition that made the SKS rifle popular, not so much the other way around. If ammo wasn't so affordable only fractions of SKS rifles would have sold. People wanted rifles cheap to feed.

What would the rifle/surplus market want next? If i knew, I would take 20K or 30K and invest without telling anyone until its landed and delivered.

I figure as long as cheap x39 is to be had people would go 858s and 81s unless a cheaper semi came along. Without surplus ammo whatever lowest priced NR semi in .223.
As for .22lr you can probably count on a lot of sks owners already having something in a .22 and then went on to x39 as a next step up.

id like to see a rifle chambered in 5.45x39 so we could start soaking up all that surplus around the world. If the VZ ever came in that round i think it would sell big time
