I would say one issue at a time. Once S-223 is defeated will move to prevent the next Liberal attempt to make gun owner's life hell. The way I see it if S-223 becomes Law the UN marking scheme will be irrelevant as most guns will be banned. I will never buy a gun that is marked by government.

Technically they are giving you a choice: store it in an approved facility or turn it over. Since you have a choice, no compensation. Its that simple.

No one has sponsored this bill after Payette's retirement. Senator Cools is listed on the order paper because she was to speak in opposition to it. The bill will appear on the order paper another 12 times. No one will actually bring it up though. Then it will officially be dead. That is the process.
And Cools is truly independent, opposed C-68, and accused Wendy Cukier of lyng to the Senate.
