Technically she has 2 weeks to find a new sponsor for her bill. Otherwise it is shelved for good. That being said, not to be too tin foil-ish, there will always be a politician looking to take the easy route and blame inanimate objects for human tragedies. Canadians deserve very basic property rights, which would lay the groundwork for drafting a right to protect oneself from those who would take our legally owned goods, be it guns or bicycles.

Why are the people who don't know or understand the types or needs of certain firearms the ones who make the laws? Why can't the people decide what is best for us? I'm just trying to understand all of this. Maybe my views are crazy.. So I'm guessing the brownbess will be fine then in her eyes or are they scary also because they expanded the British empire?
