In about 2 weeks water fowl season starts up. I will do a review on how it performs in the marsh, as it gets colder and wetter over the fall.

I have two actual US surplus M65's in woodland camo.
One is my winter jacket I wear almost all the time.
The other is the one I wear when working on trucks out in the driveway, shooting range, any and all dirty work in general. It's beyond beaten but it still will not fall apart.
They can take a hell of a beating and just keep going. Amazing jackets.

I wore this coat on my controlled deer hunt in early December. We had high winds and a windchill of -15. It then turned in to a blizzard. The M65 kept me warm. It is rare to find a coat that uses a old design that will keep you warm standing outside for 8-9 hours in winter conditions. If anyone is on the fence about these, buy one. You won't be sorry. I am heading out for goose hunting on new years eve, in what will be a very cold day. I am sure my M65 is ready for it. These things are bomb proof.
