Kevin B very kindly installed the kit. I’m happy report that all parts from the USP match trigger kit are compatible with the P8A1.

I bought a USP match trigger kit for it. Hope it will fit ok. Can’t see why it wouldn’t, but maybe others have first hand knowledge?
Thanks UW, BTW does the "safety" act as a "decocker" as well? Cheers

Mildot, it does act as a decocker. I own one for reference.

That video gave a nice explanation of the unique features of the P8 A1: more durable finish, luminous paint on sites, additional material at key stress points on underside of slide, standard rifling, and reversed safety/fire positions.

HK History: At the beginning of 1995, 60 P8 Combat Pistols were delivered to the Navy Divers who were equipped with this new weapon for their tasks in Bosnia. This special unit owned a total of 128 Combat-P8's. Furthermore, the KSK unit at Calw received 195 pistols of the same type.
