    Tanfoglio Stock 2 AUS

Special ordered this from FOC and waited 4 month for it. Finally received it last week and installed extreme grip and base pads. I was undecided for the longest time between the stock 3 extreme or stock 2 AUS. Eventually I opted for the Stock 2 because of the bull barrel and the aesthetics. I was pleasantly surprised on the fonts used for the engravings, same as the extreme.

I may still get the CZ Shadow 2 but I'll wait for the reviews. If I can, I would want to shoot it first to compare and see if its any better.

I want to practice first before I get into IPSC. I noticed I developed a flinch from having a 45ACP 1911 as my first handgun. Should have listened to everyones advice to get a 22!

I believe so based on what I was told and from below, otherwise I just wasted my money.

Also approved: variants with original Tanfoglio barrels which are longer than standard (e.g. Stock II Limited) provided the barrel length does not exceed 127mm, and provided all other aspects of these variants fully comply with all other Production Division rules.

Very nice. That would be the variant I'd get too.

Perfect. Thanks for that. 121mm. A couple grand will be evaporating out of my account shortly.

Get a FO front sight. Black on black is good for target shooting but not so much for action sports.

I got the fiber optic sight on order. I thought it came with it. So for IPSC my black setup is good? Why?

The black rear with no fiber optics allows you to see/focus quickly on your front sights. This is good for speed.
