Yea most of the time,cand based on ganderites testing, the Russian may be very slightly more accurate than the Chinese, and both are at the top of the surplus pile! I guess the SKS being a Russian invention along with the AK, their ammo should be pretty good!

I've found that Czech surplus shoots tighter in all my SKS'. Though my second pick is Russian.

It all depends on quality of ammo, some ammo is lacquered and some bi-metal, quality of powder.... also year of production(new or surplus) and of coarse the factory.
Which one did you test against Czech ammo?
If you test lacquered against lacquered is one thing.
In my opinion bi-metal is better due to the fact that they do not leave residue in barrel.

The Russian stuff I have is packaged the same as the stuff you guys have, I have also some Romanian stuff that looks just like it. The Czech stuff I have is the seller and bellot stuff that comes on strippers.

Surplus ammo has number and year stamped on the back.

If I order a can, can you folks throw in a can opener? All of my x39 surplus has been Czech crates or Chinese cans that have pull tabs.

Yes I am aware of that. But you have x54 pictured in your post. Should remove the second picture since it's not the advertised product.

I also agree with this guy, kinda strange to put a picture of x54r when advertising x39.
