    Ruger American Rifle Ranch .223 Rem

    We've had a fair amount of interest in these rifles and it's understandable why, these rifles blend the features of Rugers old Ranch Rifle series with their successful Ruger American line. The resulting rifle is a little shorter overall than the Ruger American Compact without sacrificing any length of pull, but still nice and light at 6 lbs. The synthetic stock in flat dark earth features a soft rubber buttpad, front and rear sling swivel studs, and grip serrations in the pistol grip and forend. The cold hammer forged barrel is free floated for accuracy, threaded, and finished in matte black. Check it out, at only $599 you won't run into much else at this price point that will perform as well as these rifles.

    Medium Taper - 1.15 inches diameter at the barrel nut, and tapering to .694 inch just to the rear of the muzzle
    Barrel is 16.12" long, threaded with thread protector

    i was torn between this and the Ruger Predator and in the end went with the Predator for the longer barrel, LOVE THAT GUN!

    i still do regret not getting the ranch as its listed to be able to shoot 5.56 where the Predator is not.
    Things either are what they appear to be;
    or they neither are, nor appear to be;
    or they are, and do not appear to be;
    or they are not, and yet appear to be.

    are you sure the Ranch is .223????

    all the ones ive seen are labeled 5.56
    Rugers website also lists that gun as 223/5.56 with that same SKU you have listed.
    just thought id mention that, lots of people will like that gun more if they know they can run 5.56 in it.

    Been looking for these for months and finally when I order from US, there is a Canadian dealer that decides to stock them. Oh well.
    Follow through isn't just a shooting fundamental, it's a life skill.
