I bought a TT33 from Jack a few years back. It was in great condition & the price was good. I would deal with him again.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Glad you guys had a good experience. Me, not so much. I bought a police trade in Mossberg from him for an excellent price. I was especially happy because it had a 16" or so barrel on it that I stupidly assumed to be a custom factory build for an LE agency. When the gun showed up it had clearly been cut down. My suspicion was confirmed was confirmed when the cert showed up stating barrel was over 18.5". When I got in touch with him concerned that he may have sold me a prohib his attitude was pretty poor. Basically said it was registered non-restricted so what's the problem? I clearly wasn't going to get anywhere with him so I basically chalked it up to a "buyer beware" learning experience.
I found a barrel and mag tube at a gun show so it's legal now. Shortly after buying it the police figured out what had happened and started telling people they had prohibs and to turn them in for destruction. I never received a letter myself, most likely because most/all of these cut downs were assumed to be 870s. Now clearly a lot of dealers thought these shotguns were factory so I can't lay all the blame his way. What did upset me though that at least in my case it was obvious that it was a cut down and he just didn't give a #### because a piece of paper said non-restricted.

Yes, he charges tax. His adds should say so, but don't, and in my experience, he charges far too much to ship
