    LabRadar finally showed up!!

I pre-ordered a LabRadar a few months ago and it finally made its way to me. I'm blown away by Hirsch. They quoted me a price when I first pre-ordered and when they were ready to ship I got an invoice with the price $100 less then my quote!! I'm not sure if it was a pre-order deal or they came in at a better price then they figured they would, but I was supper happy to see it.

Its also pretty cool to see that the LabRadar is made in Canada!

Here are some pics. I'll do a better review once I get some more use out of it, but it seems to work great with centerfire and not so great with standard velocity 22LR.

I bought a cheap ball head and made the tripod for it. I wanted something really low for prone shooting on uneven surfaces.

I added toolless screws for the leg adjustment after i took the pic.

I really like the one I got for our club except it goes through batteries pretty quickly .
I need to get an auxillary batt pack for it.

Love the idea of these but will have to wait for the second generation and hopefully a price reduction before trying to add one to my kit..

Its not too often the item comes through at a lower price than quoted. Thats really good of them to do that.

I got one for mine, finally had to charge it 2 weeks ago since December. Logged couple hundred projectiles with it before needing a recharge.

Why would you want to wait for gen2? Whats wrong with gen1?

If you compair to a magnetospeed the price for a labradar doesnt seem quite as bad.

What made the labradar worth the money for me was the ease of set up. For long range shooting i can "chrono" every shot when im out if i want, without the hassle of setting up and aligning a chrono.
