Why is it pinned to 5 rounds if it's pump action?

Uses semi-auto magazines, but that means you can use LAR pistol mags or beowulf mags.

Best way to stop firearms from being "easily convertible to full-auto"?
Require lab techs to wear velcro shoes and joggers.

Is the muzzle brake on the .308 or .338 pinned/welded?

Troy currently only makes two models of .223, our rifles are the same as any competition distributing Troy.

    Thank you,

Ok, good to know, just seems odd that an importer is more money then a local when the importer has been usually cheaper history shows.

Great to know more then one choice is out there

    Are you comparing the
TROY Pump Action Rifle: National .223 - $1349.99 CAD or the Optics ready? The optics ready doesn't have a folder. Only the National has been brought in through other sources from what I've heard. Looks about the same price wise to me.

Cool. I would want to be able to remove it for hunting use.

Some of the older reviews of the .223 version complained that it was pinned, but I did also see a couple comments saying it wasn't pinned on the current production model.

Well, this is awkward....I already got in on the pre-order for the 308 from the non authorized competition...price after taxes and shipping comes out to about the same too....It's too bad this post wasn't up yesterday as I know you guys at Rampart are solid and have great customer service so I would have strongly considered ordering from you guys instead...

We'll, if I like the 308 and want a 5.56 version as well I now know who to talk to...
