Definitely the ACOG. I've got enough red dots already and the ACOG has just the right amount of magnification I want for my next build.

We stand on guard for thee.
ACOG for sure! The best all around option.
Vortex razor all the way. Fast and precise.
Gotta go with the Acog. They aren't overpowered for magnification, and are proven. And if it's for a rifle I'd plan on relying on for any more purpose that once in a while range toy, my experiance just doesn't leave me trusting Vortex. Best thing people say about them is a good warranty, but everyone seems to have a story using it.
The Acog because there are no batteries needed and their proven reliability
ACOG, but I'll be happy with any optics cause a man could only shot with irons for so long
Trijicon ACOG battle proven, needs no batteries and saw some wicked tortute tests and it still held zero after.
Welcome to Alberta! The patron province of shootin stuff!
I would start with the Vortex Razor... Vortex makes top quality products at a price that can be afforded. Their VIP warranty means you are part of the Vortex family and they will look after you to always ensure their optic works for you all the time. The Razor is durable and strong which means it will always hold that zero. The aperture and variable brightness allows for fast target acquisition in a CQB - medium range application which is what the VZ58 is ideal for.
