I need this now. The semi auto version sounds pretty interesting as well.

As long as a chasis brings this above 26" OAL, couldn't it be a NR firearm? I'd be stoked on easily switching this from an underbarrel attachment to a standalone NR shotgun with AR furniture.

It uses the host rifle as the stock. So if the rifle is non restricted this would also be. If it is an AR then the rifle stays restricted and shotgun is none. But since it is attached to a restricted then yoy still can only play with it at the range.

So if I am getting this right we are talking of a short barrel SA 12g that is non restricted due to the mounting on a NR rifle?

you could place any barrel length pump on a rifle and it would non restricted, because the host rifle is the stock. as long as the whole package is over 26 in length, you could use a 2 inch barrel.

If that was a reply to my post, you may have understood me. I'm aware of the length reguarding the partnership with another firearm, but in order to turn this shotgun into a standalone firearm, it will need its own classification and FRT. I would hope for a chasis for this shotgun to be useable on its own and still be NR. Especially if it uses AR furniture.
