I'd be in for one for $1300-1400
We all know they won't sell more than a couple hundred for the $1500. I could see an "introductory price" of $1500 and a realistic price of atleast $1800...
$1500 is reasonable.... once it starts on go up in price you can start getting ino other NR options.
Damn straight.
I want max reliable (ie eats any ammo and asks for seconds in any conditions) and affordable.
I don't care if it's not a precision made, individually crafted yadda yadda $3K + price tag. There's enough of those in this country already. Pump 'em out mass production and keep the costs down.
Keep it cheap, keep it affordable, keep it around 2 MOA and make it reliable NEA! This is the first time I've been excited for a new rifle in a long long time in this country.
I'm just excited someone finally saw the obvious gap in our available firearms market and took steps to fill it. Regardless of the outcome, hats off to NEA for that for what it's worth. I hope they can keep the cost down (I understand how expensive it is to manufacture anything in this country these days let alone a firearm)
Will be holding my breath on the official classification on this one.
Guns only have two natural enemies; politicians and rust.
