Look what I found in Marstar

I think a silver finish Megastar 10mm is the cat's meow.

Yes, the Megastar was also produced to the end of the existence of the Star company although it was produced in 10 mm Auto or .45ACP. So, to be more exact, the Star BM was the last Star pistol in 9 mm Para and the Megastar was the last Star pistol in calibers larger than 9 mm Para. Both of them represent the dying breed of the all-steel military/police pistols that were so common before the new era of the reinforced polymer frame, high-capacity pistols like the most famous Glock 17.

Sorry pal but I jumped on her immediately!

So how does it shoot? Cause your going to shoot it, right?

btw, if you're looking for parts, Sarcoinc bought Interarms stock when they went belly up. It took them a while to go through it and put it (some?) on line; call if you don't see what you need.

I just received the pistol couple of days ago, I had no chance to take it to the shooting range, I will post an update after shooting!

Question fellows: how I can remove that ugly whiteout marks on the frame? I want remove them but I won't damage or scratch the pistol

Solvent. I would start with very hot water, just on the off chance that it is wax crayon. If not, move up to denatured alcohol, mineral spirits, turpentine, acetone, xylene, toluene or methyl ethyl ketone.

Which solvent is best depends on what the base is: oil paint base, shellac, epoxy, etc.

Thanks for the advice! I will try the hot water first

Is there a reason to post the rather large pictures several times or am I missing something?
