These are great comments. We are working on making this happen - give us a couple of months.

Those percentages are in the finished alloy.

So I'd suggest a "finished" bullet alloy similar to the Lyman #2 with the copper and arsenic.

Also an "alloying package" with ingots designed to make better bullets from wheel weights or even straight lead.

A sort of "babbit" of 50% Tin, 20% Lead, 20% Antimony, 8% Copper and 2% Arsenic. Would that work?
This guy right here has his sh!t together. Great ideas!

ditto .Sooner or later we will all have to purchase new alloy rather than finding wheel weights.

That day has already come where I live. The buckets of lead WW are everything but.

I buy about 200 lbs of 6% tin / 94% lead from Rotometals each year. If there was a competative choice in Canada I'd consider switching. I imagine it'd be pretty tough to compete though as they ship for free to just south of the border where I pick it up.

For many, Western Metal will be a good source if the price is right. Calgary would be considered local to a great deal of people. Doesn't help you out much though.

I would think that all the thrifty bastards on here have made them rethink this line of product.

We have been selling our pure metals (lead, tin and antimony). As you can see from the replies on this thread there are many different ratios that people want. We just haven't made up our minds yet as to which one or ones we are going to build.
