Is it possible to have the A1 uppers on the pencil 14.5" barrel or 10" for and old school carbine? Find a source for the xm177E2 flash suppressor (proper ones with grenade ring not the brutal bushmaster ones) and you would have a nice affordable little retro rifle. Troy sells theirs for around $1200US so if one could keep it around the 600-700 mark I think you would get some bites. Or hell, bring the parts in and folks can mix and match and build their own.
We have enough gun control. What we need is idiot control.
Flat top is a must! Keymod free float forend would be awesome too! Might be asking a lot, but maybe have some made in a DMR setup with 18" barrels and something along the lines of Magpul PRS stocks on them. The PRSs are pretty pricey to put on after, I'm sure that they could be added more cheaply at the manufacturing level if ordered in bulk.

Just look at COLT Canada MRR and make a 10.5 FDE version
May as well keep furnature costs to a minimum, most people will have it all changed out before putting a round through it anyhow.
Bring back the 10.5". Mod 0 to the core, and sterile if possible.
Id seriously consider a 20in barrel with a break. Smooth key mod with full flat top.
Separate uppers from lowers. I want a shorty upper, but not another lower.
