It`s study weekend before next week`s final exams and I'm in the library hitting the Canadian Electrical Safety Codebook. O the joy..... actually I love it since I am / was a teacher, I'm assumed to be a book geek and also a Mathematics geek.

This Electrical Techniques program at Georgian College in Midland, ON is keeping my academic juices flowing... I even get to tutor the plumbers and welders!

Anyways, I'd better get back to schoolwork and hammer the tests next week. Then I can pack and get ready to hit the open road out west...

    Cheers,
    Barney

Okay, back from 4 days in the Barron River Canyon of Algonquin Park. No service up in that area so I'm just catching up my correspondence.

I'm suggesting that you CQB'ers double that ammo count we originally suggested. You see with very keen groups, I can cycle many of you several times through the skills and drills. That's why I suggest to double that ammo count. What's not to like?

I'm laying out my packing / clothes and list of kit to bring right now..... I hit the open road on Tuesday. And that's only 5-6 days from now!

    I miss you Westerners...

Hey.... those guys have my back! I'm most honoured to be their geek! ha ha ha ha I can collect a poop load of favors when they get licensed. Throughout the 2 semesters those guys never failed to show me the love at school! I am lucky!

It was a straightforward 650 Klik run up to my in-laws cottage/camp up in the Soo or Batchawana Bay, I should say.

I was thinking about the heat at the Fort LaBosse and Milo Ranges we will be shooting our CQB clinics at. If you shooters happen to have an event tent to erect and shield yourselves from the hot sun, that would be a wise idea to bring it along!

Tomorrow we hit the road for Thunder Bay, ON. A straight forward 700 to 750 Km run.

    Yahooo... See you all soon...
