    Maybe it is the lighting, or maybe those were done as a satin NiB but I was kinda hoping for your NiB to look like Lantac's dark steel looking polished look.

    Yes ours was glass bead blasted then coated
    We have some stuff just finishing up this weekend I'll post some more photos then

    Does your picture imply that the Bestiarii brakes are all DLC ? Mine just arrived and is heading on the SKS once my Loctite order arrives. Probably at the range with it on the 20th, since this weekend is set aside for fishing.

    PS Really dig the Nickle Boron. Something I'll consider for sure.

    Oddly, the website says the Bestiarii is "Nitrocarburized", which implies a salt bath. DLC is Diamond Like Carbon, which implies a coating. Do I have this right?

    Yes you are corect on the standard spatha products our standard finish is nitrocarb.
    Just like the s&J m14 rods and linear comps are normaly finished in controlled gas nitride.
    These are samples of other finishes we can offer
