I don't see the relevance of his post either. Maybe we should compare Funny cars to Formula 1 cars as well. Afterall they are both cars and run on gas of some sort, so they must be the same. Right?

I have a newly acquired Springfield M1A NM, for loading .308 for semi-auto match rifles, are you using small base dies, or regular match dies ?

Small base for sure in our rifles due to the match chambers. I would think the small base would enhance the reliability of any semi. That being said I rarely if ever shoot my M14 so only shoot factory fodder through it. There are several M14/M1A gurus on the forum that would be better qualified to answer that question.

If I do my part .5 to .6 is achieveable.
I agree with Practique, shooting a semi is much more difficult to achieve great results with compared to a bolt action.
Overall I am really happy with my Hunter and can't wait for ATRS to finish up my Varmint. Hopefully Proof starts to ship barrels soon, the waiting is killing me.
I have to agree with you no-one special. 45.5gr of varget, Dominion primers, lake city brass and 168 a-max bullets seems to be it for my gun .5-.75 moa. And I am not a precision shooter.
