    I have found it not too difficult to open the magazine, dump loose rounds in, and close it. Do it with the last of your previous still in the chamber and you don't have to cock the rifle. But if I were invested in an SKS I would use the Addley Precision mount and a short optic so it could still be loaded from stripper clips. (The ten round stripper clip can hold five rounds.)


    It is a very nice looking stock. Tapco's Timbersmith laminate stock had similar lines. I don't care for the look of laminate but it suits the SKS, which doesn't look good unless you understand that utility is beauty.
