This thread hasnt move ... need some large pistol and small rifle. any coming soon ?
thanks
Glad you guys have the small rifle primers as an alternative. I mixed the SP and SR in one batch and could tell no difference in seating or function. Excellent primers that feed perfectly in my lee progressive.
Has anyone tested the rifle primers and pistol primers in a gun that requires softer primers due to light strikes? I remember hearing a while back that the Dominion small rifle and small pistol primers were the same but since the price is different now I assume that isn't true. Are the pistol primers a bit softer?

SP & SR work fine on my M&P and XDs
Think the price difference is just new stock vs NO Stock (no updated price)
any news on the next shipment?
I'm waiting for small pistol primers as well. I haven't herd any ETA yet.

Price difference is just because of shipping costs. I have used 10,000 or more rifle primers in several guns with no issues. I'm using them in my STI with a 1lb8oz trigger and no extended firing pin and they work fine. I would use pistol or rifle interchangeably. Others may have different experiences but I have not had any issues and have used nothing but these for a long time
Semis tend to have heavier strikes than revolvers. My light spring revolvers requires the soft FED primers. CCI, S&B, REM all gives ~+10% FTF when springs are set just heavy enough for 100% firing on FED primers.
Revolvers RULE; remember that next time you BEND over to pick up brass OR ejected brass pings off the precision gear.
