I really think you guys should convince MDT to make a TAC 21 for this action. I would buy/ build that combo in a heartbeat!! A Canadian action in my favorite Canadian chassis with the option of changing cartridges at will would be incredible.

They would only have to change the opening where the bolt slides back and add a spot for the side bolt release to the regular 700 design. Just sayin...

Very nice, if I read correctly it already is compatible with any rem 700 chassis?

It does have a Remington 700 footprint. But there may be some chassis it is not compatible with because of the shorter throw due to the 3-lug bolt head.

Hence why I'm saying you should convince MDT to make a TAC21 variant for your action.

This is easy enough to have your gun smith do. My shooting partner did it for a Barnard. Know another shooter doing it for a KS arms action.

This looks like an Ultimatum U300 in an MDT chassis.

I hope to have a 6.5 creedmoor back by the end of the week. Will have it in Meaford for the PSOC practice/clinic day.

Has anybody had their hands on one of these yet? Can you comment on overall quality, machining, smoothness of action, etc?
