mossler,
Le 64MPR is nose heavy, with the PRS the equilibrium point is at the "sharpie"
Goodness that's a sexy looking 1712! I had ordered one a few months ago and it had the most insane wood I've ever seen on a 1712. Turns out the gun had a serious flaw or two. Missing bluing near the receiver and a funky looking square hole that shouldn't have been there. I've had 1710's before and knew it was a boo boo. Sent it back. Now I wanna order another 1712 and 1710 and I'm scared its gonna mean selling the unfired 1727 to get both a those!
I wonder if a Norinco NS 522 would fit the Anshutz 54 version chassis? Are you considering producing any other chassis? (Sako Quad for example?)
Candocad.
[FONT="Verdana"]Take that shot and take it well, because there is unlikely to be another chance.
Another one !
I tried my old 1395, which is an old 64 action dated 1965 with less diameter than actual 64 match.
With the V support, 1mm difference in diameter wasn't a problem for a good fit.
The carbine is an old timer and the trigger group too. Not wide but much more more length.
I had some milling to do, a simple job.
Now It works well.
Why this transformation ? I like my 1395 and I'm confident that she can shoot really well. The main drawback is the trigger, a good grip is mandatory to work with.
This morning I did a try with the 1395 fitted on a thumbhole stock (before LSS transformation).
Not too bad, 100m 110y, 30shots, -3°C 27°F, no gloves I was frozen.
I hope to improve with the LSS. With a collapsible stock and a folding adapter it will make a nice rifle.
If my Savage 9317 fits I will buy one immediately.
Edited, changed my mind from my .22 to my savage 17HMR

I can't wait for one to fit my Savage 93-17.
pascalp - that's some nice work on the milling. Wish I could have the same results! Lol. A picture of mine as it sits. Will be getting a Magpul MOE-K grip for it but it works great as is!

Wishing for a endless supply of ammo........
