Haha I don't have a stock like that though. If they make one at mdt that would be alright by me

So I only realized recently the mdt chassis does not come with a butt stock or pistol grip. Where is the best place to order a nice butt stock and pistol grip from ?

Depends how special or basic you want the setup to be.

Simple basic items could be ordered from MDT: pistol grip, buffer tube, castle nut and then order a carbine stock of your choice elsewhere, or one of the MDT fixed stocks with an adapter.

For cheap LSS carbine alternatives, I would check CanadaAmmo for IMI basic items or TrueNorthArms for some clone stuff.

You can spend a lot if you start getting very specific in your desires.

1395 (1416 singleshot ancestor) and LSS-22, tested and approved.

The scope is a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x20. 4x is small, but I haven't enough elevation on the 6.5-20x40.

LSS-22 ease hold and trigger control (even this old heavy one). Aiming wasn't so difficult as hold was steady even with only weak hand as rear support.
    100m 110y, 30 shots.

10 ring is 50mm, about 2". I'm quite happy, with a little more magnification and a more precise aiming I hope a benefit of 1/2" in group size. Not bad for a 50 years old low-end product.

I had pleasant time behind the stock, thanks.

    With a 6-18x40 instead of 1.5-4x20.

"aim small, miss small", but I failed once.
    30 shots, 100m 110y.

All the credit to the LSS-22 system which help incredibly.

This is the set up a friend of mine has done. I am doing the same set up. It is an XLR buttstock.
