So I'm in Calgary for a buddy's wedding and my wife set up a business meeting with some of her Alberta associates. Time for me to clear out. I typed SHOOTING RANGE into google maps and The Shooting Edge popped up. Drove past the Lotus dealership full of Lamborghinis on the way, that was neat. Google directed me to a Farmer's Market back parking lot so I thought I was out of luck until I recognized the maple leaf sign a bit farther down.

Once I found my way to the front and inside the store I was blown away with how clean, extensively stocked, and diverse the store was. The workers were super friendly and genuinely interested in my beater POS Chiappa M1-9. "Does that take Beretta 92 mags?? NEAT!" I was shocked to see a Norinco AK variant being rented out, I honestly didn't know that was legally possible in Canada! The range visitor fee was reasonable, and the ability to shoot bulk ammo helped keep it a cheap visit. I wish there was a store this great in Southern Sask. Thanks guys!
