Answers as follows:
1) can the buffer tube be replaced with AR15 buffer tubes to get more than 3 positions? Yes it can
2) can the safety be replaced with other AR15 safeties as I found the safety too small/thin. We don't know as we have to know dimensions
3) can the bolt release be replaced as I want to run a BAD lever. No it cannot

I love my Sap6. Poly lower doesn't bother me one bit. Only deal breaker for me is no 10 round mags. Pinned is fine, I prefer the Zombie look.

Any chance you can bring in pinned 10 round mags?

That's unfortunate. .. but they are available, simple matter of going through irun guns or prophet river and paying the 200 or so bucks. If there are a bunch of people interested In getting a couple of those mags and want to split on the import cost I would be in. Even order a few extra to throw on ee ... I'm sure they would sell fast.
