Not sure if we mentioned but we got in mag clamps as well now
$29

The photos I've seen of the older versions have a smaller mag release and smaller bolt release, the feature I dont like on this version is that the mag release looks real easy to accidentally activate.
Are both the plastic and metal lowers unprotected around the mag release?
Looking for members in Grande Prairie Alberta interested in wilderness skills, survival skills, camping, prepping, shooting, etc.
I just got my 1919 on thursday along with the 3 spare mags and a mag clamp i ordered.
Took it out and put 75 rounds through it, didnt even clean it or wipe it off. Just took it and the mags out of the box and blasted away.
The gun had the light load ring in it when I got it so I started with cheap federal target loads. Not a SINGLE issue with them from the very first shot. ONLY issue I have is ONE of the mags seems to have the feed lips a bit tight, they need to be tweaked. Other than that mag issue thats easily resolved, the gun ran PERFECT.
I tried the Dominion low recoil slugs and they functioned perfectly in the gun as well. I also tried a FEW heavier loads but could immediately see why you shouldn't do that with the light load ring installed. They cycled the gun so hard you could feel it complaining.
I have to say though, first impressions, this gun is absolutely fantastic.
For anyone interested, the sights are metal, not plastic. Mine were TIGHT and didnt come loose during shooting. The hand guard installation nut did rattle a bit loose but it was only hand tight to start with. Ive since tightened it down farther and will see how it stays. it has a detent so it doesnt just rattle right off. Just got loose.
The bolt release is too exposed as many have mentioned. If you set the gun down on the left side with the bolt open, it will almost always close. Not a huge issue for me. The mag release on the other side is fantastic. And I love the forward charging handle.
Im going to do a better review of the gun in the black and green shotgun forum here pretty soon. For now, I though potential buyers would be interested in my initial thoughts. I had a Derya MK10 before this gun, which I liked. But this one is better in ALMOST every way. There is one issue i don't like at all, has nothing to do with actual function of the gun (which is perfect). You HAVE to remove a bolt recessed WAY down the buffer tube to separate the upper and lower... and you HAVE to do this to get the bolt out... and you NEED to get the bolt out cause it gets REAL dirty in and around the bolt if your shooting cheap loads.
FANTASTIC gun. I love it. Best money I've spent in a while.
