Nope. The iur has a heavy barrel and the rail is much thicker than the dd. Your best bet would be the new dd v7 lightweight with the mlok rails.

Currently running a Colt M4A1 block 1 clone but want to see how it feels to own a piece of Canadian Made, built and designed military history in my hands that will force me to train harder and realize that the next lighter faster, sleeker, cooler setup will not make me a better mall ninja in any way. Something that will help me realize that a well balanced, smart setup is far better than the half pound savings that I'm so worried about, and hey while I'm having this epiphany maybe even training hard might be the hot setup. Who offers that?

The iur is substantially heavier than a block 1 m4 top. Well balanced? No. It's set up withstand a lot of hard use while having a whole lot of mission mandated stuff bolted on to it sometimes. For us it's not a smart setup. It is cool af. But let's make no bones about it, that gun won't make you train harder.

    You know what would? You.

Alternatively of course you can sign the dotted line like pave hammer suggested. A few years in apply for selection for csor or jtf2. Maybe make some canadian history yourself.(Then you get your own iur for free)

As for this upper. If you really want it. Get it. It's not like you will be unhappy with it.

It seems to me you like going around in circles and like to hear the sound of your own fingers on the keypad. My sarcasm seems to of evaded you completely I've been on CGN for a year longer and have a seventh of the posts. Maybe your an aspiring moderator.

I'm only talking experience and not something I've read. You make plenty of assumptions and should take a little of your own advice.

I didn't say the sas is well balanced. I don't own one. I do own plenty of other stuff however but don't run a full load out on it. I'd love to hear about all of your experience however. It's the reason I'm on CGN. Once again we don't have to make this go on forever. PM me, never know we might have a lot in common.

My fingers are as beautiful to look at as they make ninja sounds hitting the touchscreen keypad.

As for you being on here longer and having less posts... well done?

As for me becoming a moderator. Not sure if I'm being insulted or complimented. Or are the mods being insulted or complimented?

You really need to clarify this paragraph I'm not entirely sure what you are on about and what you are referring to.

For all this talk about me PMing you, you do realize I won't bite if you PM me. While we are at it perhaps you can fill me in on your experiences.

Is the 10% sale still on? Are these being split up and sold as only uppers?
What is the overall length with lower? 26"?

The iur is only sold as upper. Mind you they are selling lowers as well so you can order those with your upper to get a complete rifle.
