Are the 44mag longer in OAL than a standard 44mag round or is it functional in lever action rifles?

I have purchased BB 305gr 44mag and it doesn't feed properly as it is too long.

I kinda forgot all about this thread until today: sorry about that. In case anyone was still wondering, it did cycle alright in the gf's chiappa, but not great. Got hung up a couple of times out of 2-3 boxes. Wasn't hard to clear, but the extra second of jiggling the lever while some angry bear was near me wouldn't appeal. YMMV
