Ok, here is what came. Some not exactly what I was expecting!!

Firstly the 22 Hi Powver is fresh, new S&B marked as 5.6x52R 39.99 per box, ten boxes
Secondly the 25/35 is also fresh new S&B ammo marked as 6.5X52 R 44.99 per box 6 boxes left

The 303 Savage is in great condition. Its older Dominion 190 gr ammo. Some cartridges have some darkening of the brass but not much for most of it. Boxes and ammo in remarably good condition. 95.00 per box 12 boxes, all the same

Yep, we have been unable to get any for years, so, we paid a bunch to get it but its nice to have. A lot of guys have 'grandpas' old rifle and just want a box to have with the rifle.

Hornady made some new .303 Sav. a year or so ago . I foolishly only bought one box. I bought some old, but in excellent condition, Dominion 32-40 and 250 Sav. at the Bible Hill Gun Show in N.S. a few weeks ago. Nine of the 20 32-40's Cases split, and 5 of the 11 250's split. I pain $40 for the 32-40's and $10 for the 250's. I was just buying for the brass. I find that old Dominion or Imperial often splits when fired. The 32-40 was very accurate though. I had just bought the rifle (Savage 1899 takedown) at the show.
$95 per box seem excessive to me, particularly when it's Dominion, unless you are just collecting it, not shooting it. For a collector, it may well be an acceptable price.

Why don't you take the easy route? For 32-40 win size full length 30-30 brass, expand neck, trim to 2.13" and shoot .320 bullets in it . The bullets made for the .32 Special are fine at .321" With pails of free range brass what's the downside? I FL size .22-250 brass to make .250 Savage...I prefer Hornady dies for this as they have a more tapered expander button than others with zero case loss..................303 Savage buy 100/Privi brass.......pay once cry once........Harold
